This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit trinitypublishingpress.com, create an account, submit a manuscript, shop the Trinity Bookstore, or otherwise engage with our services (together, the "Services").

Our Services include author support across the full publishing journey — editing, formatting, proofreading, print and digital publishing, book marketing, and listing author titles in the Trinity Bookstore.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.

Information you give us directly

• Account & contact details — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and password when you sign up or request a free consultation.
• Author & manuscript content — book manuscripts, cover art, author bios, dedications, and any files you upload for editing, formatting, cover design, or publishing.
• Payment information — billing name, address, and payment details when you purchase a service, book, or subscription (processed by our payment partners — see Section 6).
• Communications — messages you send via our contact form, WhatsApp, live chat, or email, including project briefs and support requests.
• Bookstore orders — shipping address, order history, and preferences when you buy titles through the Trinity Bookstore.

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver publishing services — editing, formatting, cover design, proofreading, ghostwriting, audiobook production, translation, and distribution.
• Process orders and payments, and manage royalty calculations and payouts.
• Provide a dedicated project manager and respond to support requests.
• Send transactional updates (order confirmations, project milestones, shipping notices) and, where you've opted in, marketing about new titles, services, or promotions.
• Personalize the Trinity Bookstore experience and recommend relevant services.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
• Improve our website, platform tools, and services through aggregated analytics.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and measure the performance of our marketing.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — editors, cover designers, narrators, printers, and freelance contractors we engage to fulfill your publishing project, bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Distribution partners — Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple Books, IngramSpark, and Draft2Digital, to publish and sell your book where you've instructed us to.
• Payment processors — to complete transactions securely (see Section 6).
• Legal & safety — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trinity, our authors, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy's protections carrying forward.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Card and payment credentials are processed directly by our PCI-compliant payment partners — Trinity does not store full card numbers on our servers. All checkout traffic is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption.

Royalty and payout information (for authors earning through the Trinity Bookstore or distribution channels) is used solely to calculate and disburse the author's 70% royalty share and is visible to the relevant author via their royalties dashboard.

We also collect order details for bookstore purchases, including shipping address, order history, and fulfillment status. This information is used to process orders, deliver books, handle returns, and support customer service inquiries.

Manuscripts, cover files, and related creative materials you upload remain your intellectual property. We access this content only to perform the services you've requested — editing, formatting, design, proofreading, or distribution — and only authorized staff and contractors working on your project may view it.

We retain manuscript files for the duration of your active project and for a reasonable period afterward to support revisions, re-prints, or re-publication requests, after which they may be archived or deleted at your request. See Section 9.

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (256-bit SSL), access controls limiting who can view manuscript and payment data, and regular review of our systems for vulnerabilities.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own risk.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention periods:

Trinity Publishing Press is based in the United States and works with authors, printers, and distribution partners worldwide. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred internationally.

Our Services, including Children's Book Publishing services, are intended for use by adult authors, parents, and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice such as an email or a notice on our site.
